Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are very special to Mothers Raising Sons. Our volunteers provide a very needed service to the parents and sons. We need special people to do a very special job.

We need MEN & WOMEN to serve in various areas

What do volunteers do?
+ sign in people at registration table
+ direct people to proper area of auditorium
+ join in with discussion of single parents by giving suggestions and ideas for their concerns
+ setup for meal: prepare plates & drinks
+ assist with homework, if needed
+ help with childcare (ages 6 months – 5 yrs old) during meetings.

We meet every 1st Tuesday of each month for the separate support group meetings.
We provide baby sitting during support groups.

Volunteer Meeting Schedule:

6:00 – 630 pm Homework assistance
6:30 – 7:30 pm support groups
7:30 – 7:50 pm dinner for families
7:50 – 8:00 pm clean up
